It is established that men have poorer health than women and it is a growing concern globally. In the past decade, there has been a growing number of men’s health research, publications and public campaigns in Malaysia. They are conducted by academic institutions, governmental agencies and NGOs.
The Malaysian Clearinghouse for Men’s Health (MCMH) is a one-stop centre that provides information on men’s health research and activities in Malaysia. It aims to promote men’s health in Malaysia by:
- collating, analysing and reporting research activities and publications on men’s health in Malaysia.
- providing useful resources on men’s health for healthcare professionals.
- disseminating information on men’s health to the public.
The MCMH is hosted by the Department of Primary Care Medicine, University of Malaya, with representatives across different disciplines from academic institutions, Ministry of Health and NGOs. We welcome you to provide any information on on-going research projects, publications, professional and public education activities, public campaigns and policies on men’s health in Malaysia. You can submit the information through the ‘Submission’ section of this website or email us at: firstname.lastname@example.org
